Title: Senior Accounant
This position will act as the Finance Manager's right hand.
Responsiblities:
US Entity:
- Prepare Month-end closing
- Reconcile and analyze P&L & BS accounts on a monthly basis including Inter-Company accounts.
The Mexico entity:
- Upload of Prodensa trial balance
- Prepare Financial Statements
- Reconcile and analyze P&L and BS accounts
- Monitoring/reviewing the booking done by Prodensa
- Responsible for the AR and AP
- Responsible for reconciliation and analysis of Inventory.
- Work closely with both the Cost Accounting Manager and Inventory (Operations)
- Responsible for calculation of monthly accruals.
- Operating and capital lease
Requirments:
- Minimum 7-10 years experience in all-round accounting
- Must be able to speak and communicate in Spanish
- Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, forecasting and cost control procedures
- Inter Company work experience
- Experience with Inventory management and international offices is required
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA preferred but not required
- Ability to work independent as well as part of a team
- Supervisor experience
- Hard working and strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections
- Have process improvement focus/proactive
- Proficient in Excel and JD Edwards (preferred)
