Title:  Sales Account Manager 

 

Location:  Houston 

 

Due to rapid growth and expansion, my Houston based client has an immediate need for a technically-oriented individual to assume the position of Account Manager.  The Account Manager will be responsible for sales, product training, territory management and market development. This position requires a bachelor's degree and a high level of entrepreneurial drive. A proven track record of successful selling is a must. 

  • Work within an established geographical area to generate new business, increase revenue and service existing customer.
  • Develop and maintain long term customer relationships.
  • Develop and maintain contact with key decision makers within the customer base.
  • Assist other sales personnel, customers and potential customers on the technical issues of the products. 
  • Work with sales and technical staff to propose changes in existing products and the introduction of new ones.

 

Qualifications: 

  • This position requires a bachelor's degree. 
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of Sales experience is preferred. 
  • A proven track record of success, consistent over achievement of goals/quotas is essential. 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are necessary. 
  • Must be organized with strong time management skills. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are vital. 
  • Must have high energy, an excellent work ethic, and be both reliable and positive.

 

This position will be office based only.
