Title: Sales Account Manager
Location: Houston
Due to rapid growth and expansion, my Houston based client has an immediate need for a technically-oriented individual to assume the position of Account Manager. The Account Manager will be responsible for sales, product training, territory management and market development. This position requires a bachelor's degree and a high level of entrepreneurial drive. A proven track record of successful selling is a must.
- Work within an established geographical area to generate new business, increase revenue and service existing customer.
- Develop and maintain long term customer relationships.
- Develop and maintain contact with key decision makers within the customer base.
- Assist other sales personnel, customers and potential customers on the technical issues of the products.
- Work with sales and technical staff to propose changes in existing products and the introduction of new ones.
Qualifications:
- This position requires a bachelor's degree.
- A minimum of 1-3 years of Sales experience is preferred.
- A proven track record of success, consistent over achievement of goals/quotas is essential.
- Excellent interpersonal skills are necessary.
- Must be organized with strong time management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are vital.
- Must have high energy, an excellent work ethic, and be both reliable and positive.
